DAY 1
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 16th
ARRIVING AT CASABLANCA

Our meeting point will be at Casablanca Airport at 16.30. We will have transportation waiting for us to take us to our Hotel in Fez. Check-in and a welcome dinner will follow in our Hotel.
DAY 2
MONDAY FEBRUARY 17th
FULL DAY FEZ AND MAKNEZ
Overnight: 5 ★ Hotel Sahrai or Riad Fez
The beginning of the day will be devoted to the Jewish history of Fez. The golden age of the Jewish community of Fez lasted from the 9th to 11th century. Once a thriving community of some 22,000 Jews in 1947, there are less than 100 Jews today.The city, however, is still rich in Jewish memories, Synagogues and a Jewish Cemetery. We will visit the two Synagogues and the Mikveh, we will also take a walking tour through the magnificent Jewish Cemetery, where many big Tzadikim are buried, and to this day thousands of pilgrimages visit both Jewish and Muslim. A walking tour in the Medina and the Kasbah will follow where you will be able to enjoy the smells, colors and atmosphere of this wonderful city. After a walk in the beautiful and breathtaking market of Fez, we will visit the Imperial City of Meknes, known as the ‘Moroccan Versailles’. Freshen up and indulge in a wonderful dinner waiting for us in our Hotel.
DAY 3
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18th
ERRACHIDIA AND THE SAHARA DESERT CAMP
Overnight: Sahara Luxury Camp – Sahara Desert
This morning we will enjoy a relaxed breakfast before embarking on our flight from Fez Airport to Errachidia. Our luxury 4×4 SUVs will be waiting for us on arrival. On our way to the Sahara Desert Dunes we will stop at Erfoud where we will learn about the Fossils found in the desert which date back to millions of years. We will also pay a short visit to the jewish Cemetery in Erfoud, and then continue to the Dunes!
Quad bikes will be waiting for us to cross the dunes and admire the beautiful landscapes of the Sahara Desert before arriving to our Luxury Sahara Camp. Come nightfall, you’ll be enveloped by a traditional desert welcome. Enjoy a classical Kosher Moroccan dinner around the campfire with traditional music and engage with your fellow travellers in a percussion circle before falling asleep under a blanket of desert stars.
DAY 4
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 19th
TODRA GORGE AND OVERNIGHT STAY IN OUARZAZATE
Overnight: 5 ★ Berber Palace Hotel Ouarzazate
After a breathtaking camel ride on the dunes of the Sahara to see the sunrise, we will come back to the camp for a tasty breakfast. We will then start our Journey to visit Todra Gorge; where a 300m deep cliff splits the orange limestone into a deep ravine. In the afternoon we will arrive at our beautiful Hotel in Ouarzazate, where you can enjoy the spa and pool before dinner.
DAY 5
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 20th
AIT-BEN-HADDOU AND MARRAKESH
Overnight: 5 ★ Sofitel Hotel, Marrakesh
After breakfast we will drive to Ait-Ben-Haddou. This fortified yet charming Moroccan village was declared amongst the country’s eight world heritage sites. Ait-Ben-Haddou is even more famous for being a backdrop for many Hollywood movies including “Aladdin” and the famous cable series “Game of Thrones.” We will then embark on our journey across the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, one of the mountain passes of the High Atlas peaks, over 2100 meters above sea level before arriving in Marrakesh, where we will check-in to our Hotel and enjoy a beautiful dinner.
DAY 6
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 21st
MARRAKESH FULL DAY
Overnight: 5 ★ Sofitel Hotel, Marrakesh
Today after a typical Moroccan breakfast you will get to discover the old and new city of the Magical city of Marrakesh:. Marrakesh is two cities in one. First you will visit the old city of the Medina, comprised of intertwining narrow passageways and charming little shops where you can buy meaningful trinkets and souvenirs.
Here you will also find the former Jewish Quarter of the Melach which really captures the original and historic vibrancy of Jewish society in Marrakesh. Take in the Lazama Synagogue which used to be the main synagogue in Marrakesh and one of the only ones open to the public today. Explore the remnants of Jewish communal buildings and soak in the history of the Jewish culture of Marrakesh. Take photographs of the brilliant Bahia Palace, one of the major masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. In the late afternoon we will head back to the hotel to prepare for an authentic Shabbat Dinner in a local Jewish Family, after our Kabbalat Shabbat Service in the new Synagogue of Marrakesh.
DAY 7
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 22nd
SHABBAT IN MARRAKESH
Overnight: 5 ★ Sofitel Hotel, Marrakesh
We will have our Shabbat minyan in the local Lazama Synagogue followed by lunch. In the afternoon we will have time to relax and enjoy the Shabbat Spirit. At night we will visit the busy and Magical Square of “Jemma El Fna.” Jemma El Fna is the main square of Marrakesh; you will be delighted by everything it offers from snake charmers to acrobats – from musicians to artists. You will be mesmerized by a unique experience that you will never forget.
DAY 8
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 23rd
ESSAOUIRA
Overnight: 5 ★ Sofitel Hotel, Marrakesh
2-hour drive from Marrakesh will bring us to the village/Port of Essaouira on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, a historic fort and fishing port. It is known as one of the most popular excursions departing from the busy and bustling city of Marrakesh. Take a break and enjoy the traditional culture and character of this quiet medieval seaside town of Essaouira, visit the tomb and synagogue of the great rabbi Pinto, before exploring the beautiful Medina ( City Center/Market) The tour picks up again as we move to the village of Chichaoua where you can stretch your legs and learn about the famous Moroccan Argan oil cooperatives and visit the Berbers market. On our arrival back to Marrakesh, we will visit the famous Yves Saint Laurent Gardens and then back to our hotel for dinner.
DAY 9
MONDAY FEBRUARY 24th
DAY TOUR OF THE 4 VALLEYS
Overnight: 5 ★ Sofitel Hotel, Marrakesh
Today we will drive to the Atlas Mountains and visit the 4 valleys that make the region famous: Ourika Valley, Asni Valley, Sidi Fares Valley and Oukaimeden Valley. You’ll also experience traditional Berber culture as well as a magnificent hike in nature. We will arrive back in our hotel just before Dinner.
DAY 10
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 25th
RABAT AND CASABLANCA
Overnight: 5 ★ Four Seasons Hotel, Casablanca
Rabat the Capital of Morocco; The ‘Kasbah of Oudayas’, will be our first stop before visiting the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V. In the afternoon we will start our journey to Casablanca; the Financial Capital and largest city of Morocco, With a Jewish community of around 3,000 members, the largest Jewish community in Morocco.
DAY 11
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 26th
FULL DAY CASABLANCA
Overnight: 5 ★ Four Seasons Hotel, Casablanca
Start the day with a short visit to the Mosque of Hassan II, the largest Mosque in Africa. Continue to the Jewish Museum of Casablanca, where you’ll be delighted to admire over 700 square meters of religious and artistic renderings of the history of Jewish Morocco. We will then enjoy a fabulous lunch in an authentic and classical Kosher restaurant followed by a short visit to one of the main Synagogues and meet some locals of the Jewish community. Our last dinner together will be in one of Casablanca’s Kosher restaurants.
