DAY 1
TUESDAY February 22nd
EUROPE, CASABLANCA
Following our arrival at Casablanca airport, we will arrive at the economic and commercial capital of Morocco.
We will start with a panoramic visit to the main sites of Casablanca. Sites include: the esplanade of the Hassan II Mosque, Palace of Mohammed V, the medina (old city), the Habous and Anfa districts, the Royal Palace, followed by shopping in the medina and visit to the Jewish Mellah (Jewish Quarter), and the Jewish museum. Traditional dinner in the local Kosher restaurant.

DAY 2
WEDNESDAY February 23rd
CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH
Today we start our journey to Marrakech. “The Red City” and “the Pearl of the South» are just some of the names given to the most beautiful city of Morocco, which extends to the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Enroute, we will visit the Waterfalls of Ouzoud. This is a great spot for a short hike. In the afternoon we will check-in to our Hotel for the next 5 nights. Dinner at a Kosher Jewish home. DAY 3
THURSDAY February 24th
ESSAOUIRA
This morning and after a wonderful Moroccan Breakfast, we will depart to the town of Essaouira, an oldfort and shipping port located within 2 hours drive from Marrakech and considered one of the most popular excursions out of the busy and bustling Marrakech. We will visit the Jewish Cemetery and the Tomb of Rabbi Pinto before visiting the famous and still in use Synagogue of the city. We will have a chance to visit the Old Port and walk in the small streets of the Old City. On our way back to Marrakech we will visit the village of Chichaoua and learn about the famous Moroccan Argan oil and visit a local Berber market. Time permitting, we will have an option (extra cost) for a short visit to the famous Yves Saint Laurent Museum and Gardens in Marrakech before dinner at a Jewish home of a local family.

DAY 4
FRIDAY February 25th
FULL DAY MARRAKECH
Today after breakfast you will get to discover the Magical city of Marrakech: Marrakech is two cities in one. First you will visit the old city of the Medina, consisting of intertwining narrow passageways and charming little shops where you can buy meaningful trinkets and souvenirs. Here, you will also find the former Jewish Quarter of the Melach which really captures the original and historic vibrancy of Jewish society in Marrakesh. Take in the Lazama Synagogue which used to be the main synagogue in Marrakesh and one of the only ones open to the public today. Explore the remnants of Jewish communal buildings and soak in the history of the Jewish culture of Marrakesh. We will then visit and Take photographs of the brilliant Bahia Palace, one of the major masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. We will conclude our full day in Djemaa El Fna: the main square of Marrakech, where you will be amazed by the food market, colourful colours and street shows with the famous snake charmers and typical dancing and more. In the afternoon we will head back to the hotel to prepare for an authentic Shabbat Dinner in a local Jewish Family.

DAY 5
SATURDAY February 26th
SHABBAT IN MARRAKECH
Morning Tefillah will take place in the local Lazama Synagogue. Followed by Kiddush and Shabbat lunch in the local Jewish family home. In the afternoon you will have free time to relax in the Hotel or to stroll in the close by market. Seuda Shelishit in a Kosher Jewish family home. In the evening: organized outing to attend the typical Berber folklore, with troupes of dancers, groups of singers, acrobatics on horseback and more.

DAY 6
SUNDAY February 27th
MARRAKECH – VALLEY OF OURIKA – MARRAKECH
In the morning, we leave Marrakech for the green valley of Ourika, in the Atlas Mountains, where the rich Moroccans go to relax in the summer. We will begin with a visit to the station of Oukaimeden, 3200m. above sea level and the highest ski resort in North Africa. We will then continue our tour to the Ourika valley, which lies between the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved valleys in Morocco. We will end the day with a hike in the beautiful waterfalls of Setti Fatma village before continuing back to Marrakech, where you can relax or, if you want, you can return to Djemaa El Fna.

DAY 7
MONDAY February 28th
MARRAKECH – FEZ
This morning we will leave Marrakech towards Fez;This morning we are heading north towards the magical city of Fez. On our way we will visit the city of Meknes. The Moroccan imperial city, also known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. The visit will include Bab El Mansour as well as the old synagogue before continuing to our Hotel in Fez for check in. Dinner will be served in the local Kosher Restaurant followed by a Folk show.

DAY 8
TUESDAY March 1st
FEZ
This day will be dedicated to Fez, the religious and cultural capital of Morocco, with many religious buildings, mosques and madrassas. In the heart of the city is the medina, where the house of Maimonides is located. The medina is divided between the different guilds of craftsmen: painters, blacksmiths and tanners. Visit the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah), and the well-kept Jewish cemetery. Walk through the maze of alleys to see carpenters and potters at work. Sites visited: Panorama of Fez seen from Burj, the old Jewish cemetery and the Jewish quarter, the medina, the house of Maimonides, various craftsmen’s workshops: coppersmith, tannery, caftan workshop, etc. Dinner is served in a local Kosher Restaurant

DAY 9
WEDNESDAY March 2nd
FEZ – RABAT – CASABLANCA
After Breakfast we will begin our one hour drive to visit the archaeological sites of Volubilis and Explore the hillside settlements of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun and admire second and third Century Roman ruins at the UNESCO Site. Then we will continue to Rabat the capital of Morocco the ‘Kasbah of Oudayas’ will be our first stop before visiting the Mausoleum of King Mohammed the V, late afternoon we will start our journey back to Casablanca. On our final night together, we will enjoy a Gala Dinner prepared for us at the Jewish Community Centre.

THURSDAY March 3rd
CASABLANCA – DEPARTURE
After Breakfast, we leave our Hotel in Casablanca and have a group transfer to Mohammed V airport.
